The Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health (DSPH) and College of Nursing and Health Professions (CNHP) are excited to invite applications from diverse early-career investigators for tenure track Assistant Professor positions as part of the inaugural NIH-funded Drexel FIRST program, a novel initiative to enhance inclusive excellence in health disparities research and support career development and retention of early-career researchers. The Drexel FIRST program will support 12 diverse early-stage career scientists engaged in health disparities research spanning population science to intervention research. Drexel First faculty will participate in a range of supportive mentorship and sponsorship opportunities to advance an independent program of research and competitive NIH grant submissions.
