a) Work with an interagency team of program coordinators and support partners to continue the development of a uniform program across agencies to support food and ag projects
b) Interface with business owners and communities. Possible travel may be required. Knowledge of virtual meeting platforms is helpful.
c) Work closely with EDD team, regional partners, economic development organizations, local governments, higher educational institutions and Council of Governments (COGs) to connect with and offer specialized technical assistance to food and ag related businesses.
d) Help to manage and plan Business Finance and Resource Fairs for food and ag projects. Compile and manage resources collected during the events, provide follow-up to the attendees and lenders, and maintain a contact list.
e) Assist with efforts around the Business Finance Finder and market the program to food and ag businesses and lenders.
f) Be knowledgeable of EDD and other State Department food and ag related programs and resources. Help to market and promote the programs
g) Develop and deploy material and information to educate public on food and ag resources and innovative financial tools. Examples include hosting webinars, helping to update online information, giving public presentations and hosting events.
h) Participate in and assist with FUNDIT group to support food and ag projects.
i) Work with the Health Food Financing Fund (HFFF) Manager to promote program to food and ag related businesses
