A policy, systems and environment intervention contributes to improved food pantry shopper satisfaction. Statewide data was used to compare intervention sites to peer food pantries and found differences in food pantry shoppers’ perception of the availability of nutritious food, the ability to select their own food and more positive service experiences. This study also revealed insight about the preferred foods of shoppers visiting intervention sites.
