Healthy Foods, Active Communities Council Webinar & Call – Catalyzing Communities: Facilitating Community Partnerships Through a Learning Collaborative

Catalyzing Communities is a community-engaged research project, based at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University, with a goal to help communities across the country promote child health and reduce disparities using a data-driven and equitable approach. In addition to conducting research to drive impact within communities and advance the field of child health promotion, we promote collaboration via the Catalyzing Communities Learning Collaborative. The Learning Collaborative is a vibrant virtual network that provides our partners with an opportunity to cultivate professional relationships, share knowledge and resources, and connect with and learn from like-minded professionals across the country. We believe this space is a critical way we support our partners in enhancing their individual impact. In this presentation, we will provide a background on Catalyzing Communities and the Learning Collaborative, and share reflections on how it impacts engagement and cross-sector relationship building in the context of our work.
