HER NOPREN’s Early Childhood (EC) Work Group and Women, Infant and Children (WIC) Learning Collaborative would like to showcase student research. We also invite students from other HER NOPREN Workgroups to participate with research on these topics.

Topics of interest include but are not limited to the pregnant and lactating women’s health, early childhood obesity prevention research and evaluation in the childcare/early childhood setting, including nutrition, physical activity, and sedentary behaviors. The primary population of interest is women who are pregnant or lactating, infant feeding and growth, children ages 0 to 5 years in a variety of out‐of‐home settings, including child care (both centers and homes), preschool, pre‐Kindergarten, and Head Start. Selected research spotlight presentations will be presented at the April meeting of the EC Work Group.
