The Manager will support Share Our Strength and its mission to end childhood hunger and poverty in America by working with the National Partnerships Team to identify new national relationships and build on existing national partnerships, including those with state and local networks, in support of addressing hunger in communities experiencing poverty, particularly in communities of color, urban and rural communities, due to chronic underfunding. The Manager will help further Share Our Strength’s programmatic priorities; identify and work with internal teams to create action plans around new partnership opportunities nationally; and support the No Kid Hungry Field Team in adapting national work in support of our state and local efforts.

Another aspect of this work will be its focus on racial justice. As Share Our Strength is committed to fostering, cultivating and preserving a culture of equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI), the Manager will work to help increase our collaborations and partnerships with community organizations, especially those serving rural, urban, Asian, Black, Indigenous, Latinx communities, and immigrant families. The Manager will work on projects with national organizations and associations focused on ending hunger and poverty.
