The School is recruiting one or more new faculty members to expand upon, complement, and synergize with our current areas of strength by bringing new expertise, teaching, and scholarship focused on nutrition equity, food and nutrition security, food justice, and health disparities. Areas of focus could include, for example, nutrition assistance programs and community interventions; food markets, economics and policy; land use, agriculture and rural-urban environments; food industry practices and regulation; or demographic and social change. Successful candidates may be focused on the U.S. or other regions, on particular nutritional or health outcomes, or improved methods for qualitative and quantitative research. Novel and rigorous approaches to investigate and address structural disparities and inequities are of special interest.
