Serves as Branch Chief and collaborates with Director and Deputy Director regarding the overall responsibility for the administration and coordination of the USDA Regional Food Business Centers. The incumbent carries out difficult assignments including the formulation of policies, outreach, and technical assistance, overseeing a team of agricultural marketing specialists. The Branch Chief must have expert knowledge of local and regional food systems and how USDA supports external stakeholders.
