The Program Associate is responsible for supporting functions for the Public Policy Department under the direction of the Chief Advocacy & Engagement Officer (CA&EO). With strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, the Program Associate will be responsible for a combination of programmatic and administrative work. From assisting in the weekly public policy roundup, weekly event updates, and quarterly newsletter, this person will help further the efforts of the team to build awareness of WFP USA on Capitol Hill. They will also coordinate meeting requests and schedules, handle and organize vendor contracts, prepare/design PPT presentations and participate in other team projects as requested. In addition, the employee will attend specific meetings, provide follow-up reports as required, and be proactive in anticipating the needs of the CA&EO and the Public Policy team.
