The ASPHN Board of Directors met on July 10, 2026.

  1. Membership applications approved in July 2026:
    • Two (2) General members:Mikala Gibbs (OK) and Cheryl Saunders (UT).
    • Ten (10) Associate members, seven (7) of which are students/emerging professionals: Najim Bellila, Hong Brunner, Elisabeth David, Ellie Lee, Tayjes Patel (CA); Savannah Supachana (CO); Julie Self (GA); David Perez (NM); April Powers (OR); and Marley Ackley (VT).
  2. Roll-Call – Quorum achieved with 9 voting members present at the time of roll-call.
  3. Meeting agenda and consent agenda were approved.
  4. Board development – ASPHN Consultant, Lourdes Pogue, led the board in an immersive experience in which board members were guided on a journey to identify their story.
  5. Guidance for Federal Financial Assistance Proposed Rule – Action alert will be sent to the leadership list, and members are encouraged to respond if they choose to do so.
  6. New board members will begin on Aug. 1.
