The ASPHN Board of Directors met on June 10, 2018. The Board:
- Welcomed 6 new Expanded members: Jana Gach (IN), Sierra Kirby (MN), Julia Lang (MN), Shawn Meyer (WI), Hannah Nolan (AR), and Phylis Putman (SC), and 1 new Associate member: Laura Hormuth (IN);
- The Policy Committee signed-on to letter request from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in support of the president’s FY 2019 budget request of $12.297 million for the development and release of the 2020-2025 Dietary Guidelines for Americans; and
- The Board approved a motion to change some objectives in the Collaboration goal area of the Strategic Plan.
