The ASPHN Board of Directors met on October 12, 2018. The Board:
- Welcomed 11 new Expanded members: Erica Auld (CA), Kai Bagwell (SC), Danielle Conlon (UT), Jennifer Czelusniak (NY), Charlene Garcia (MO), Brenna Kavakos (NY), Noelle Manley (NY), Mark Nielsen (UT), Barbara Stahnke (GA), Hillary Sutton (LA) and MaryAnn Tonrey (PA); and 2 new Associate members: Karen Basinger (MD) and Paul Shephard (FL);
- A motion to update the 2017-2022 ASPHN Strategic Plan, Objective 1 from “Increase overall membership from 330 to 375” to “Increase overall membership objective from 330 to 500 members” passed unanimously;
- The Policy Committee submitted comments to FDA on the nutrition innovation strategy.
